Mary Louise Bronar

Mary Louise Bronar, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of creativity, adventure, and love. Born to Irvin Dale and Hilda Lee Martin, Mary grew up in a close-knit family alongside her siblings: brother-Irvin Dale Martin, Jr. and his wife Cathi Martin, brother-Rodney Gerald Martin and his wife Teresa Nadine Martin, Bobbie Gail Fauson and her husband Ernest Fredrick (Fred) Fauson, Jr., and Yanessa Rose Kaserman and her husband Gregory Alan (Greg) Kaserman.

Mary’s life was filled with vibrant interests and joyful pursuits. She was a passionate quilter, belonging to various quilting clubs where she shared her artistry and formed lasting friendships. Her love for painting brought beauty to those around her, and she found companionship in her cherished cats. Mary enjoyed playing slot machines at casinos in Las Vegas, and her adventurous spirit led her to cruise on various cruise lines, visiting destinations across the globe. She also found simple pleasures in watching TV and playing video games.

Mary was twice widowed, first married to Robert William Bronar, Jr. in 1967, with whom she shared many happy years until his passing on January 17th, 2005. She later married Jerry Wayne Vaselka on July 28th, 2008, and together they created new memories until Jerry’s passing on April 18th, 2024.

She is survived by her loving children, daughter-Diane Elizabeth Skipworth and her husband Terry Skipworth, and son-Robert William (Bill) Bronar III and his wife Joddi Bronar. Mary was a proud grandmother to Robert Dillon Bronar and Megan Elizabeth Bronar, who will always remember her warmth, encouragement, and adventurous spirit.

Mary was predeceased by her parents, Hilda Lee Martin and Irvin Dale Martin Sr., as well as her husbands, Robert William Bronar, Jr. and Jerry Wayne Vaselka.

Her gentle spirit, artistic gifts, and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Mary’s memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones and in the beautiful quilts and paintings she leaves behind.
