Jim, Mary was one of those who helped make my senior year at Haskell special.  May God's love sustain you and your family at this time.

Susan, Steve, Julie & Mr.Byrd, Im so saddened to here of Mary's passing. She was like another Mother to me, & I feel like I grew up at your home.May God's peace be with you all, & know you will all be in my prayers.

Mary (aka, Mrs. Byrd to me) always had a way to make you laugh and smile. That was a great gift to all her knew her. She was a joy to all of us. My thoughts and prayers to all of the Byrd family.

Jim, Susan, Julie, Steven and family, my sincere condolences to you each of you. Mary aka as my mom's best friend and chosen sister was one of the best, she was funny, kind and generous to all. When I think of Mary Byrd, a big smile comes to my face, she just seem to have a way to brighten a room with her smile and warmness. May all the wonderful memories you have of her bring you comfort and peace in the days to come.
