Mary Louise McMahon Duke was a devoted daughter, sister, wife and friend. She was born to Donald J. and Marceline McMahon on November 20, 1934 in Dallas, Texas. She received her Nursing Degree from St. Paul and her Masters Degree from TWU. Mary Lou was employed by Baylor Hospital for 15 years and the VA Hospital for 25 years before her retirement in 1997. She was married to Robert Duke for 25 years until his death in 1983. In addition to Robert she is preceded in death by her parents. Mary Lou is survived by her brother Donald J. McMahon Jr., his wife Hiliary, nieces Emily McMahon and Augusta McMahon; cousins Tom McMahon, his wife Connie and daughter Meghan; Louise McMahon Owen, her husband Ed; Jim McMahon, his wife Gloria, sons Andy McMahon, Robert McMahon and daughter Stephanie Hargett; her dear friend and caregiver Pat Ford and Pat's family, daughters Tammy Slaughter, her husband John, and son John; Karen Addington, son Chuck Ford and granddaughter Isabelle Mitchell, whom Mary Lou raised from the age of one.
