Mary Ellen Glines

peacefully on November 10, 2015 surrounded by family.

Born in Oklahoma, Mary Ellen was the vivacious beauty between two

rowdy brothers. In 1943 she met and married her Prince Charming,

Carroll V. Glines in Enid, Oklahoma. Mary Ellen was the consummate

military wife making warm loving environments in C.V.’s many duty

locations. Known by all for her beautiful smile, sweet disposition and

poise. Using her Bachelors in Fine Arts from OU she always

maintained an atmosphere of music, art and serenity.

Mary Ellen was predeceased by her parents and brothers. She is

survived by her husband of 72 years C.V. Glines, their children

daughter Karen Perez (husband Kenneth Perez), son David Glines

(wife Jan) and daughter Valerie Carpenter (husband John), five

grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at DFW National Cemetery in Grand Praire,

Texas on November 18, 2015 at 2:00.
