Mary L. Gonzales, age 96, passed away on August 13, 2017 in Dallas, TX. She was born on June 20, 1921 in McKinney, TX to Jose and Antonia Paredes. She was raised in Little Mexico. She attended Crozier Technical High School in 1940. She married Joe L. Gonzales in 1941 and the couple had 3 children. She was a copy checker at Taylor Publishing Company, where she worked for more than 33 years. In her spare time Mary enjoyed watching the Cowboys, taking care of Blondie, her 3 year old long haired Chihuahua. Visiting with her grandchildren, and traveling Gaudulupanas on trips to Mexico. Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving mom and grandmother, generous and a considerate person. She is preceded in death by her husband: Joe L. Gonzales, daughter: Dolores Gonzales Bernal, father: Jose A. Paredes, sons: Danny Paredes and Freddy Gonzales, Grandsons: Mark Badillo, Danny Paredes Jr., Jason Paredes, William Chad Swanzy, Grand Daughters: Yvette Ciaruffdi, Branie Ainsworth. She raised her family with Love and Care.
