Born on August 19, 1946 in Wichita Falls, Texas, she was one of three siblings born to Jack and Isabel Kadane. A devoted mother and wife, she lived to help others. She was a long-time member of the nonprofit Crystal Charity Ball and served as Chairwoman in 1990.
She is survived by her loving husband Ken Hughes, children Hunter Hughes and Taylor and Jeb Mason, granddaughters Neely Catherine Mason and Mary Hicks Mason, brother Robert Kadane and sister, Judith Nix.
A Memorial Service will be held at Highland Park United Methodist Church on Thursday, June 13th and 2:00pm in the main sanctuary.
