Mary Louise Jones died February 26, 2023, in Dallas, TX. She was born to Minnye Weatherall Scott and Robert Compton Scott on January 12, 1928. She grew up in Dallas, Texas, and graduated from Sunset High School.
Mary Lou was a founding member of Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church. A devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was beautiful, stylish and elegant. She was an enthusiastic golfer and made a hole in one on two different occasions at Northwood Country Club. She was preceded in death by her husband ,A. Raymond Jones.
She is survived by her daughter Jan Jones and husband Tom Dohearty, daughter Linda and husband William H. Hitzelberger, III; three grandchildren William H. H-grandchildren, Elle Jones White, Mary Mills White, William H. Hitzelberger, V (Quinn), Parks Dale Hitzelberger and Rae Thea Hitzelberger.
The family would like to thank Terez Peace for her incredible love, care and devotion to our mother during her final years.
