Mary Salazar was born on February 9, 1928 in Marlin, Texas. She was called home to our Heavenly Father on January 4, 2025 at the age of 96. She was preceded in death by her parents, all siblings, her husband, Pablo, and her son Frank, (Paco), and three Grandchildren: Stephen, Shiela, and Danny.
Mary is survived by five children, Carmen, Raymond, Irene, Gloria, and Linda. She had 14 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, and 12 Great Great Grandchildren, and five of their spouses.
Mary worked many years in various industries: food manufacturing, apparel manufacturing, and healthcare (taking care of the elderly when she was younger). She loved staying busy and being creative.
She showed her love by cooking for her family and enjoyed spending her time surrounded by family. She participated in Saint Cecilia Catholic Church functions and enjoyed doing for others.
Her family would like to thank Park Village Healthcare and Rehabilitation in DeSoto, Texas for their warmth, kindness, and caring for our mother during her stay.
She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
