Marzella Delois Woulard

Marzella was born to Lathaniel & Jimmie Lee Hines on 11/2/1945 in Vernon, Texas. She was the only daughter born to her parents, and the middle child of five. Both of her parents and three of her siblings; Alfonzo, Willie Herman "Bill" and Ollie Ray Hines have all proceeded her in death. She moved to Dallas in the 1950's, her father was a Pastor in Pentecostal Assemblies, and she accepted Christ at a young age.

She attended schools in Dallas, notably the famous Booker T. Washington, and she graduated from Madison HIch School, highlighting the band as her most loved school memory. After high school he attended El Centro College.

In 1963 Marzella married Mr. Charlie Allen, He helped her to raise her baby daughter Rhonda Hines, to their union two sons were born Kevin Allen and Carl Allen. In 1975 she gave birth to her youngest son Damon Allen who has also proceeded her in death in 2023.

In 1988 she married Mr. Ras Woulard, no children were born to this union. He proceeded her in death in 2020.

Marzella had a career as a Teacher’s Aide for over 20 years, she retired from D.I.S.D. in the early 2000’s. She also worked for several years as a bus driver for Dallas County Schools.

Her most notable things that she enjoyed were playing golf, traveling, entertaining and spending time with family and friends.

Marzella joined Heartline Ministries (now New Way of Life Church) under the leadership of Pastor Victor D. Beck. She loved attending church and often helped with the auxiliary “kitchen on fire”, she enjoyed participating with the Women’s Ministry and never wanted to miss church. In 2023 she joined the Widow’s Ministry at Concord Church, always looking forward to a time of fellowship and activities with the widows.

Marzella leaves many loved ones to mourn her: Daughter; Rhonda Hines Roberson, sons; Kevin Allen (daughter in love Joan), and Carl Allen. Her only surviving sibling Sammy K. Hines (sister in love JoAnn), also (Sister in love Debra Hines wife of Alfonzo), her aunt Lilly Conley; and her best friend Renee Jeffrey of over 40 years.

Mourning her loss are her Grandchildren. Raymond Alford, Patrick Roberson, Derrick Roberson, Terrence Roberson, Rochelle Roberson-Bass, Latrease Roberson and Gleneice Kelly. 14 Great Grandchildren and and host of adopted daughters, special nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones, and great friends, near and far, who will all miss her greatly.
