Mildred Marie “Millie” Cudd was born Mildred Marie Miller on July 28, 1924 in Mobile, Alabama to Samuel Jefferson Miller and wife Eva Willie Causey. She was the second of their three children. After moving to Louisiana, she met the love of her life, Cecil George Cudd. They were married on July 28, 1941 in New Orleans where they made their permanent home following World War II. From that marriage was born their only child, Barbara Ann, who later married Dennis Michael Allen, Sr. in Dallas, Texas on August 16, 1975. Millie Cudd loyally served the Ford Motor Company, beginning as a temporary worker in the early 1950’s, earning her way to Records Process Supervisor at the Dallas Parts Distribution Center. She retired after a half century of service in 2003. She is preceded in death by her husband Cecil George Cudd and her sister Georgia Geis. She is survived by her devoted daughter Barbara Cudd Allen, and husband Dennis Allen, her two grandchildren Michael Allen, and wife Adriene, and Jeffrey Allen, and wife Jearlyn, and her four great-grandchildren Hazel, Teller, Tapley and Georgia Marie.
