Ms. Mildred Lee Thomas

Mildred Lee Thomas was born on March 18, 1938 in Dallas TX to the late Lucky and Oshie Gray. She was the fifth child of six. Mildred received her formal education in the Dallas Independent School District. After graduating THE GREAT JAMES MADISON HIGH SCHOOL she began working at Texas Instruments and then AT&T. She retired in the sales field at Highland Appliances.

Mildred met the love of her love her life Lawrence Thomas and they were married on September 9th, 1971. Along with the marriage came her two children Shannon and Michael Tannhill. To this union one daughter Keisha Thomas-Williams.

Mildred accepted Christ at an early age. She was a proud member of Concord Church under the pastorage of Rev. Bryan Carter where she served faithfully prior to her declining health.

Proceeding her in death are her parents, sons, and her brothers; LG, Buddy, Johnny, Alvin Gray and sister Gladys Bowers.

Mildred leaves to cherish her memories her daughter Keisha, son-in-law Danny, Granddaughter Ebony Miller, three grandsons; Chase, Casz, and Cameron and three great grandchildren, and four step grandchildren and 14 step-great grandchildren. Special daughter-in-law Lynn Miller and sister-in-law Lillie Thomas and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
