

Morris Robinowitz, 69, of Dallas, TX, passed away on August 23, 2012 at the Forum on Park in Dallas surrounded by his loving family. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, uncle and friend to all that knew and loved him.
He was born in New Orleans. LA on April 1, 1943 to Oscar and Eva Steinman Robinowitz. He went to High School at Fortche High School in New Orleans and later attended Louisiana State University. He worked as a realtor, contractor and developer here in the Dallas area. Morris was an avid wine collector and loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. Morris was known in Dallas for his participation in the wine societies: He served as Officieur Commandeur of the Chevalier du Tastevin and was an active member of the Commanderie de Bordeaux. Morris also enjoyed giving back to his community by serving the Dallas Opera, Dallas Summer Musicals and the Dallas Arboretum.
Survivors include his wife Katherine Friedman of Dallas, TX; a son, Morris William Friedman; daughter Shelby Elise Friedman; a sister Eileen Chandonia and her husband Jim; a niece and nephew, Ashley and Michael Chandonia.
