At an early age, she joined Post Oak CME Church and graduated from Ned E. Williams High School, in Longview. She was a homemaker who was diligent in her tasks as well as the matriarch of Alaska Avenue in Oak Cliff. Rosie Mae was a model citizen who was loved by her family, friends and neighbors.
She met and married Granville Bush, who preceded her in death. They made their home in Dallas, Texas and to this union one child was born.
Rosie Mae, also known as, Pitt and Red, will be remembered for her devotion to her granddaughters.
On Tuesday, July 13, 2021, Rosie Mae Bush entered into her eternal home of Glory. She was welcomed by her five siblings, Ollie Mae Smith, Jannie Mae McPherson, Fred Douglas Daniels (Ham), Alice Faye Mayberry, and Willie Daniels.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted daughter, Doris Elaine; son-in-law, Marvin Wayne; two granddaughters, LaTrina Elaine and Erin Ashley; three sisters, Earnestine Daniels, Ruby Stein Jones and Virginia Daniels; and a host of nieces and nephews.
