

With deep love and gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the death of Nancilee Foree, who died on October 13, 2025, at the age of 86. She was born December 31, 1938, in Dallas, Texas, to Robert L. Foree and Della Keith Foree, the youngest of four children.
Nancilee, Nancy to her friends and family, graduated from The Hockaday School in Dallas, and attended SMU. She cherished her many life-long friends from her school days. She married John Kendrick Pearcy on January 28, 1958, in Dallas, and together they had five children.
Nancy radiated beauty and style, both in her dress and in her homes. Her impeccable taste was featured in Architectural Digest and in Southern Living. Her home in Playa del Carmen, Mexico was a favorite destination for her family and friends. She was involved in the culinary awakening of Dallas, as a star pupil and friend of Jean Claude Prevot, and later, as the founder of Juniper, an award-winning restaurant. She was a member of the Junior League of Dallas, the Dallas Woman’s Club, Marianne Scruggs Garden Club, and Daughters of the American Revolution. An avid tennis player, Nancy was an early volunteer and supporter of The Virginia Slims Circuit, which is now the WTA Tour.
Nancilee is survived by her four children, Camille Pearcy Walsh (Noel), Dorothy Pearcy (Douglas Jacobson), Kimberly Pearcy (Ignacio Estrada), and Gregory Pearcy (Jennifer Ferranti), her grandchildren, Hugo Potts, Margot Potts, Isabel Jacobson, Wallis Jacobson, Wilson Jacobson, Jack Philips and Ryan Philips, brother Robert Foree, and 12 nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son Royal Kendrick Pearcy, and her sisters Barbara Foree Langston and Elizabeth Foree Lee.
She brought love, laughter, and wisdom to all. Nancy will be dearly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas.
