Nancy Kay Brooks of Dallas passed away on May 10, 2015. She was born in Austin on April 30, 1949 to George and Kathryn Brooks. Nancy graduated from Austin High School, Texas Woman’s University and Southern Methodist University. Nancy has a thirty-one year career as a dental hygienist in North Dallas where she had a loyal following. She is survived by her mother Kathryn; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Chris Brooks of Dallas; niece and nephew, Katie & Robert Brooks of Denver and Dallas, along with numerous cousins and a special aunt and uncle. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Sparkman Hillcrest. A Memorial Service will be held at University Park United Methodist Church, 4024 Caruth Blvd. at noon on Thursday, May 14, 2015 after a private burial service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Buckner Foundation International, (www.buckner.org) or a charity of their choice. The family would like to thank all of Nancy’s wonderful friends and patients for their lifelong support and loving.
