Nancy was born on September 17, 1928 in McKeesport, PA to the late John and Christina (Danielson) McCauley. She started training as an American Airlines Stewardess and graduated on March 12, 1956. This is where she met her husband on a DC-6 and the rest is history.
Survivors include her children, Gregory Grinnell and wife Donna, Jeffery Grinnell and wife Teresa, Christine Molinar and husband Jesse; grandchildren, Jessica, Danny, Natalie, Nancy, Rachel, Katie, Shannon, Scott, Hannah and Jarrett; her brother, C. Richard McCauley and wife Mona; sister-in-law, Sue Grinnell. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Grinnell, Jr.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 6 o’clock to 8 o’clock p.m. at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 11 o’clock a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to the SPCA in Nancy’s memory.
