Nora Gonzales

She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Joe Gonzales. She is survived by her son Robert Gonzales and daughter-in-law Sylvia, daughters Olga Miller and Lucinda Gonzales, son Joe Gonzales, Jr. and daughter-in-law Sherri, granddaughter Stephanie Snyder and her husband Josh, great-grandson Noel Beckett Snyder, step grandchildren Brenton Tidwell, his wife Tracy, and their children Emma, Mila, and Ava, Clark Tidwell and his children Tony, James, and Candace. She was preceded in death by parents Josephine and Ben Salas, sisters Mary Martinez and Patsy Salas, brothers Johnny, Marshall, Benny, Raymond and Steven Salas. She is survived by her brother Richard Salas and his wife Anna, sisters Lydia Cervantes, Eva Medina, Josie Rodriguez and Gloria Sepulveda.

Nora was a longtime resident of Mesquite, Texas and parishioner of Saint Pius X Catholic Church. She was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed her family, cooking, and vacationing. Her never-ending faith, love and resilience will live on through her loved ones.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00pm on Monday, April 24, 2023 at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home with Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00pm. Mass will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at St Pius X Catholic Church, 3030 Gus Thomasson Rd, Dallas, TX 75228. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Rowlett, TX.
