Morrine George , beloved mother , teacher & wife , departed this life on Wed. March 2, at home, with family by her side. Proceeded in death by her husband Jerome & son, Morris. She is survived by her son, Joe & his wife Jacquelyn; granddaughter Heather & great granddaughter Seven. Born in Enid, Ok. on Aug. 31 1921 to Olive & Dewey George. She received her bachelors degree from Texas Tech Univ. in 1943, & married Jerome George in 1946, her husband for 64 yrs. Morrine loved teaching the Bible & taught Sunday School at Park Cities Baptist Church in Dallas from 1970 until her retirement in 2002 and received the Martha Howard award in 2003. Memorial contributions can be made the Children’s Ministry c/o Park Cities Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held Friday, 10 a.m., March 4 at Ellis Chapel, Park Cities Baptist Church, with graveside service following at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
