In a few days, it will be a year since Pansy "passed"...As everyone who knew her, I miss her...  Whether we shared a lifetime or "short and sweet" connection along the path of her Life Journey, Pansy "touched our hearts" forever... She was "a ray of sunshine" in each of our lives!

Pansy was very special...She made those around her feel special, too, through her giving ways, unconditional love, and guidance "by example", not just words...

So thankful my Mother's dear friend sent me an article, that Pansy wrote appx.8yrs ago,relating to a photo of she and my Mother during their days working at Neiman's in the 1950's...After my Mother's "passing", that article re-appeared among my Mother's keepsakes....So, I began my "search" to find Pansy with a heartfelt desire to meet her...

It was a challenge, and I almost gave up...My final attempt was a call to her Son, who I found through my"search".Then Roger replied,confirming he was Pansy's Son and how to contact her! That was the beginning of our unexpected friendship. 

Pansy shared her fond memories about working with my Mother in the 1950's and expressed how "kind and supportive" my Mother was with her, as those were Pansy's beginning years as a young "working woman"...

We became "pen pals" via email!Unlike my family and friends,Pansy wasn't annoyed by my long emails,that I call my "e-novel" messages...Just the opposite,she encouraged and supported my passion to write...Knowing Pansy was a true "gift",that I will always cherish... 

May the spirit of "Christmas Love" bring happiness to Pansy's Family with Comfort and Joy through "sharing" their memories of this special Lady...

Our dear friend, Pansy, is waiting in heaven, and she is saving a place for us. We had a lot of fun together through the years, and they went by so fast.  God bless Pansy and her family in this time of sorrow.

It was my privilege to meet Pansy and her family, and to spend time with her and Patsy.  I will miss her.

So sorry I was unable to attend the funeral.  I have come down with the flu, but I hope you all knew how much your mom has meant to me all these years since 1956.

My condolences to Pansy's family.  As wonderful as it is to know that she is now in God's presence, those left behind will miss her dearly. I am grateful for Pansy's advice and support, and for the friendship Pansy gave to my mother, Betty Brown.

To John, Hugo, Roger and Kay, Lena and Patsy, my thoughts are with you and your families.  Pansy was a very special person and a sweet cousin. I share your sadness and loss.  May time bring you peace.

Thank you, Cousin Pansy.  Mom so loved and cherished your relationship.  Thank you for all your kindness in helping me and Richard many years ago. It has not been forgotten. No doubt your reward for 83 years of being faithful to God's calling is beyond imagination in our world.

This candle is lighted in memory of another angel on earth.

My sincere condolences to John, Roger and Kay, as well as, the rest of  Pansy's family for their loss! A few years ago, after my Mother passed, I discovered an article, that Pansy had written. When I realized that she and my Mother had both worked at Neiman Marcus, Main St., Dallas in the 1950's, I began to "search" the websites, etc. trying to find her. My "desire" was possibly, to keep someone in my life who'd  known her... someone I could share my memories with! Just as I was about to give up, I found Pansy's Son, Roger, who connected us....Pansy and I immediately "bonded" and embraced a very heartfelt friendship! What a special Lady!                   Although our friendship was "short and sweet", I was so "blessed" to have known her and had her in my life...She'll be in my heart forever!

Again my deepest condolences to you Roger and your family. To let you know my mother is buried in Grove Hill also. My God give you peace and comfort during these times of grieving.

I was so saddened to learn of Pansy's death.  She always brightened our SLHS reunions.  My wife Alice and I send our deepest condolences to John and Pansy's entire family.

Pansy and I both married into the South Lockett School family and became close friends.  We respected her so much for her beauty, her artistic side, and her genuine interest in people.  She was a true friend.  Our love to John and the family.

I so dearly loved my mother. She has taught me about life, relationships, responsibility, finances, love, selflessness, God and so many other things, that I could go on all night.

Rest your weary heart Pansy Johnson, you deserve a break from your life long mission of hard work and sharing with so many others. As cliché as it may seem, Pansy truly touched more lives in positive ways each of her 83 years than most people do in a lifetime.

I am so proud to be your son.
