

Paris was a 1989 graduate of Wilmer Hutchins High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Paul Quinn College and his Master of Educational Leadership degree from LeTourneau University. Paris valued education deeply and carried that passion throughout his life and career.
Paris dedicated more than 20 years of service to Dallas ISD, where he faithfully worked as an Elementary School teacher, Physical Education teacher, and school librarian. Through his commitment to education, he touched the lives of countless students and colleagues with patience, kindness, and wisdom.
In addition to his career in education, Paris proudly served in the Army Reserve, demonstrating his dedication to both his community and his country.
Paris was also a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., where he shared in the organization’s values of brotherhood, scholarship, and service.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Iowa Sanders, his son, Paris Sanders, his beloved granddaughter, Kyra Deane Sanders, his sister, Felice Sanders-Johnson, his brother-in-law, Michael Johnson, and his nephew, Elishus Johnson. Paris also had a host of aunties, cousins, neighbors, and friends.
Paris found joy and peace in gardening and caring for his chickens, ducks, and beloved pets. His gentle spirit, love for nature, and devotion to family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
His memory will continue to live on through the lives he touched and the love he shared so freely.
