

Patricia met the love of her life, Randy Brimer, while attending high school, where they were avid members of the school choir. Music and faith remained central parts of her life and played a crucial role in all that she did. Throughout her 67 years, Patricia cultivated a life rooted in faith, hard work, and an unwavering love for her family and friends.
She had a deep love for education and began her professional journey as a school secretary in Dallas, Texas. Determined to further serve students, Patricia earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Dallas Baptist University in 1998. She began her teaching career in third grade, where her passion for learning and children flourished. Patricia ultimately found her true calling in the Gifted and Talented program, where she dedicated many years to nurturing young minds. She retired in May 2025 to help care for her newest granddaughter, a role she embraced with joy and devotion.
Patricia’s greatest treasures were her family, especially her six granddaughters, who were truly the light of her life. She loved them deeply and delighted in every moment spent with them.
A woman of strong faith, Patricia loved the Lord with all her heart. She was an active and faithful member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Cedar Hill, where she joyfully sang in the choir and served her church community.
She is survived by her loving husband, Randy Brimer; her children, Kristy Brett and husband Ryan Brett, and Paul Brimer and wife Kellie Brimer; her beloved granddaughters, Emma, Katelyn, and Bailey Brett, and Katie, Carrie, and Sadie Brimer; her parents, James and Patricia Bailey; her brother, Steve Bailey, and his wife Cindy Bailey; her nieces, Stephanie Stead and husband Michael Stead, and Chelsea Bailey; as well as numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas.
A memorial service will take place on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 2:00 pm., also at Laurel Land in Dallas, with burial to follow.
Patricia will be remembered for her gentle spirit, servant’s heart, love of learning, and unwavering devotion to her faith and family. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched as a wife, mother, Nana, teacher, and friend.
