Pattye Ruth Jenkins

Pattye Ruth Clark Jenkins, 94, passed away on December 23, 2019 in Royse City, Texas. She was born on October 14, 1925, to her parents William Irving and Bessie Bell Woodall in Crandall, Texas. She attended Cooper High School in Cooper, Texas. Pattye married the love of her life, Lee Roy Jenkins in 1946, and together they had two children. She worked as a legal secretary, real estate broker, and also nurtured her family as a devoted homemaker. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, singing in her church choir, working in her garden, and cooking. Most of all, Pattye will always be remembered as a sweet, kind, and loving Christian woman who was dedicated to her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Irving Clark and Bessie Bell Woodall Clark and nine brothers and sisters. Throughout her life, Pattye was blessed to be surrounded by an adoring family she cherished: her devoted husband of 73 years, Lee Roy Jenkins; two daughters, Deborah Cope of Royse City, and Teresa Hodges and husband Pat of Rockwall; grandchildren: Marianne Cope Villanueva of Hermosa Beach, CA; and Leeann Hodges Wells of Rockwall; Aaron Cope of Cypress; and Greg Hodges and Katie Hodges Larey of Rockwall; as well as eight beloved great-grandchildren.
