Paul M. Lopez Sr., 77, passed away after a long battle with cancer on December 29, 2016, in Carrollton, Tx. He was born on June 26, 1939 in Dallas, Tx to Pedro Sr. and Lorenza M. Lopez. He is survived by his children Paul M. Lopez Jr., Gloria Larralde (Luis), Ricardo Lopez Sr., Melinda Lopez (Pamela), Monica Mason (Patrick), Trinidad Lopez Sr., Deborah Acosta (Joe), and Humberto Carvajal Sr. Paul also leaves behind 23 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. As well as his brother Ernesto G. Lopez Sr. and sisters Herlinda L. Quiroqa, Eloira Torres (Marcos Sr.), Belin Cruz, Lorena L. Torbellin, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as his lifelong friend David Tovar. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro Sr. and Lorenza M. Lopez. Brothers Jessie M. Lopez, Catarino M. Lopez, Pedro Lopez Jr.,Joe Arthur Lopez Sr. and sister Carolina L. Roblez. Visitation to be held from 4 pm to 8 pm, with a rosary at 6 pm on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 3050 N. Stemmons Fwy, Dallas, Tx. A memorial mass to be held on Wednesday January 4, 2017, 10 am at St. Mary of Carmel Catholic Church located at 2900 Vilbig Rd., Dallas, Tx 75212.
