Pedro L. Ochoa, age 89, passed away on October 13, 2023 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on January 31, 1934 in Rosebud, Texas to Victor Ochoa and Gregoria Liscano. Pedro was raised in Lubbock and Dallas.
He married Ignacia Hernandez in 1965 and the couple had 6 children.
In his spare time, Pedro enjoyed dancing, spending time with his family, quality time with his gran-kids and great-grand-kids, listening to music and loved his family feud. His family and friends will always remember him as a fun loving and funny Welo and a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Victor Ochoa and Gregoria Liscano, his son Victor Ochoa, daughter Linda Rodriguez, his brothers Joe Ochoa, Timoteo Ochoa, Frank Ochoa, and Rudolph Ochoa, and his sisters Cecilia Ochoa and Matilde Ochoa.
He is survived by Gloria Patlan, Carmen Mejia, Debra Ochoa, Rosario Ochoa, Ricardo Ochoa, Patricia Ochoa, 23 grandchildren, and 35 great-grandchildren.
A rosary service for Pedro will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at 2201 - Grove Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. A visitation will occur from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. A funeral service will occur Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. A committal service will occur Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228.
