Peggy was a very loving, thoughtful and caring wife and mother, always doing everything she could for others. She married Lilburn Clinton Mayo in 1944. Together, they worked side by side in several very successful, self-owned businesses in the Dallas area.
Peggy is survived by her four children Patsy Mayo Fonseca and husband David, Lilburn “Lib” Mayo, Jr. and wife Judy, Thomas Mayo and Penny Mayo; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, a sister Bettie Junkin, sister-in-laws Jessiel Skidmore and Martha Hunt White, as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 10 AM at Grove Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Gravesite from 9:30am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to the Down Syndrome Partnership of North Texas (1300 W. Lancaster Ave. Fort Worth, Texas 76102).
