Pete Cadena, age 72, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019, at Baylor Scott and White hospital. He was born August 18, 1947, in Files Valley, Texas, to Pedro Cadena and Rebecca Bargas. He graduated from Crozier Tech High School in 1966. He married, the love of his life, Mary Esther DeLeon on June 4, 1977, in Dallas.
He worked in the fire protection industry for 45+ years, for companies such as Grinnell, Aerotech, Hughes, and HD Supply. Pete was the youngest of 10 and loved sharing stories about his colorful family. He loved music, dancing, westerns and romantic movies. He loved sharing stories about his favorite subject, the DALLAS COWBOYS. Pete saw the beauty in the world even during the darkest times and it showed in his beaming smile.
Pete is preceded in death by siblings, Felix, Maria, Ramon, Concha, Augustina, Carmen and Judy.
He is survived by his wife, Esther and his children and their spouses, Petey and Kristy, Anthony and Robin, Rebecca and Mike and Joseph; grandchildren, Noah, Emma and David; sisters, Lupe and Lucia and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
