She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Tiny Price, and her husband, Don Starnes. She is survived by her son, Tony Starnes, and daughter-in-law, Jan; her two granddaughters, Christy and Jenny; and three great-grandsons, Harrison, Aidan, and Dylan.
Phyllis spent much of her life in Lancaster, Texas, before retiring full time to her home at Lake Tawakoni. In her younger years, she enjoyed skiing with her friends and was known for opening her lake home to gatherings of family and friends. Her loud, contagious laugh often announced her arrival before she came into view.
Phyllis will be laid to rest on April 24th, 2025. She will be remembered by those who knew her for her strong personality, sense of humor, and the love she had for her family and friends.
