Raymond Joseph Healy died at the age of 71 on October 14, 2010. He was born on August 31, 1931, in Dallas, Texas, and was preceded in death by his parents Raymond Joseph Healy and Winifred Marie Ries Healy. He is also preceded in death by his nephew Andy Wolfe. A life-long Dallas resident, Raymond graduated from Jesuit High School and began his professional life as an English teacher at Bishop Dunne High School. He retired from Buckley Oil Company – having worked there for 25 years. A quiet man, Raymond had a positive and lasting impact on the lives of those around him – students, colleagues, neighbors, friends and family. A loving son, brother, uncle, and friend – his daily life reflected the ideals he held most dear – devotion to others, commitment to values, and personal integrity. He will be missed deeply by those who loved him and whom he loved. Raymond is survived by his friend and partner of 30 years David M. Ross; his sister Rose Wolfe and her family Roger, Kathy, and Katelyn Maxwell; his brother-in-law Frank Wolfe; his sister and brother-in-law Patricia Nance and John Nance; his sister-in-law Debbie Ross-Reina and her family – husband Frank, sons Andrew and Michael, daughter Angela Reina-Greca with husband Alberto Greca and their children Nicolas and Sophia; brother-in-law Danny Ross and his family – wife Nancy, daughter Emily Ross-Koempel with husband Jeremy Koempel and their daughter Harper, son Matthew Ross, son Joseph Ross with wife Jessica. Additionally Raymond is survived by his aunt Josephine Ries, uncle James Ries, and many cousins and their families. There are no words to describe how saddened we all are. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 17, 2010 From 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Calvary Hill Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 3:00 pm. Funeral Mass, followed by internment, will be celebrated on Monday, October 18, at 11:00 am in the North Mausoleum Chapel located on the cemetery grounds of Calvary Hill Cemetery.
