Richard Lee Hoy was born on May 28, 1944 in Dallas Texas, to parents Quincie Lee and Rosie Lee Hoy. He passed away in Wichita Falls, Texas on Saturday, February 28, 2015. He was employed with Sears and also the 1st Baptist Church of Wichita Falls, where he was a very active member. In his spare time, Richard enjoyed reading, playing games, and watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys. He was a very friendly gentleman, who was full of life and he will be truly missed. Richard was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years Mrs. Bonnie Hoy. He is survived by his sister Nina Hoy, and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 6-8 pm at Grove Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 11:00 am in the chapel at Grove Hill Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Pleasant Mound Cemetery in Dallas.
