Richard Peña

Richard Peña was born September 24, 1964 in Dallas, Texas. He left this earthly home on May 3, 2019 in Dallas, Texas. Richard was a house painter by trade. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, swimming, and carpentry. Richard was a jokester he loved to kid around, making everyone laugh. He enjoyed making his brother mad he said " man you can't tell him nothing cause he gets mad real quick. But I know when to stop when you see his bubble lip!"

Richard lived his life to the fullest. He almost set himself on fire a few times, one time in particular at a bonfire, we couldn't keep the fire on everyone was trying to keep it going, Richard decided to throw the whole gas can on it! Next thing you hear is BOOM and see Richard fly back nothing scared him. He was fearless. He will be missed by so many.

Richard is preceded in death by his mother and father, Micaela and Joe Peña; Siblings, Michael, Joseph, David Peña. He is survived by his loving wife, Sally Peña; his son, Little Richard; Sister, Virginia Mata; Brothers, Jesse and Tino Peña.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 12-8pm. Funeral Service will be held on Friday May 10, 2019 at 2pm at Grove Hill Funeral Home.
