

Rita Ann Glynn O'Brien 94, of Dallas, Texas, entered into eternal life at her Dallas home of over seventy years, on November 8, 2011. Rita Ann Glynn O'Brien was born at home on December 25, 1916 to William and Catherine Ann Murphy Glynn in Forney, Texas. She married Wilbur Anthony O'Brien on July 18, 1937. Rita is preceded in death by her husband Wilbur, her son, Wilbur Timothy, her parents, William & Catherine, and two brothers, William Michael and John Dennis Glynn, son in law Larry Robert Button, Sr. and grandson, William Christopher O'Brien and nephew, John Dennis Glynn. Rita is survived by daughter, Barbara Ann Czarnecki and son-in-law Thomas Czarnecki of San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Sister Michele O'Brien, C.C.V.I of San Antonio, Texas; son, William Edward O'Brien and daughter-in-law, Sherry O"Brien of Sulphur Springs, Texas and Daughter Margaret Grace Button of Richardson, Texas; numerous grandchildren; great-grand-children; niece and nephews.
Affectionately known as "Mom" & "Granny", Rita was known for her love of the blessed Mother, of flowers, yard work and hand crafted hobbies, most of all, for her love of children, the poor or rejected and the Carmelite Nuns. Rita worked at St. Paul's Hospital, Dallas, Texas for over twenty years as a CNA, after raising her children. She was known for her church volunteer activities such as feeding the poor and orphaned children as well as the Carmelite Nuns of Dallas in the 50's and 60's.
Rita will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
