I had the pleasure of meeting your father in 2014 as we both attended a group pilgrimage to Medjugoria that was very positive for all of us.  Your father was a very kind, faith-filled gentleman.  I was very impressed that he traveled so far by himself.  We all started as strangers and became good friends thru our faith.  He spoke so lovingly of your mother and family. I could tell he deeply missed your mom and prayed for her soul daily. Even in Medjegorie he was a good evangelist.  We kept in touch at Christmas for several years and then somehow,  we lost communication with each other.  A holy spirit moment happened recently as another member of our pilgrimage group, Kelly, was attending Adoration and felt the memory of your dad return and his special prayer for souls.  She reached out to see about more prayer cards and ended up Googling him to notice that he died on the day of her Adoration memory. She sent to me his obituary.
 He gave me a special prayer card on our trip and later sent me more to pass out.  I have attached the card he gave me as for the last 8 years it has rested on my bathroom mirror and I recite it nightly.  It was a prayer Jesus shared with St. Gertrude and he promised that every time it would be prayed,  1000 souls would be released from purgatory to heaven.  With that special story,  I imagine your father was overwhelmed with a loving welcome as he enters heaven.  His faith touched so many of us and in turn has elevated so many into heaven. Thank you Bob for welcoming me to Dallas 6 months ago and handing me the 7 sorrows of Mary Rosary pamphlet.  We will miss you sitting front row each morning at rosary and daily mass - thank you for your devotion, kindness and love.

I had the privilege  of working with Bob at Delta Air Lines in the DFW Reservations Center.    He was the kindest man and I will always remember the enthusiasm that he approached this job.   Bob retired from Delta at a remarkable 82 years of age.    He had and has the admiration of many here at Delta!  God Bless you Bob and Susan.   You will be fondly remembered.  

We will miss you forever!! Love you so much Dad!!

I was saddened to learn of Bob's passing. I knew him from the daily rosary groups at St. Monica and St. Rita. He was a role model on how to live life well and with a fervent faith. Bob always wore a smile and was always ready to connect with people. He would wave "HI" when he walked by and always greeted you with a big smile and kind word. Bob greeted everyone that he encountered.  He had a strong devotion to Mary and initiated our Rosary Group to pray the 7 Sorrows of Mary Rosary every Tues. and Fri. I feel blessed to have known him. Bob will be missed. 

So sorry to hear about the passing of  “Uncle Bob”; I have great memories of Bob and Susan spending time with our family during our vacations in New Smyrna Beach, FL.  I also remember our road trip driving from Cincinnati to Dallas for Bob and Susan’s wedding.  Bob was so full of life and always enjoyed being with family.
