

Robert Edward Boulogne, was born August 26, 1957, in Montclair, NJ, to parents Robert and Margaret Boulogne. Bobby’s homecoming to his eternal home, July 11th, 2016 was proceeded by his battle with Melanoma. The legacy that Bobby has left for all was his ability to build, maintain and grow long term quality friendships. A gift to anyone who had the privilege of friendship with Bobby. Bobby’s kind, genuine, fun, talented, wise and God fearing character blessed all who knew him.
His global reach to many no doubt began with his childhood exposure to many countries and four year residence as a youth in Japan due to his father’s international professional responsibilities. After returning to the United States and completing his Business Degree at Bryant University, Bobby’s people skills and talented business instincts landed him in Houston, Texas in the hotel and hospitality business. His exceptional ability to connect with people, excel in the hotel business provided the foundation for what would be a highly successful career.
Bobby’s executive experience at Four Seasons Hotels brought him to New York City followed by creating a niche for small luxury hotels, Sterling Hotels and Resorts which further paved his path to his final move, back to Texas. Bobby’s career advanced in Dallas with Rosewood Hotels and culminated as Chief Operating Officer.
Texas was good to Bobby professionally and personally. He had the opportunity to once again realize his dream with the creation of The Saint Elm Hotel which was cut short due to his passing. His life long passion for music, his drumming skills and great voice landed him in a couple of bands with Dallas friends. While writing, playing and practicing in their spare time, they found themselves performing for charity fundraisers or just jamming for fun!
Bobby is survived by his loving wife Jamie Jo, son Reid and daughter Lili; his mother Margaret Boulogne McNulty, step father, Joseph McNulty, sister Michelle Boulogne and her husband Tom Kinnealey, their children Robert and Katie. Father in law, Jim Hayes, Step Father and Mother in law, George and Pam Busiek, their sons Matthew and David, Grandfather in law, Perry Clay Moore, Sr., Grandparents in law, Dan and Peggy Jo Davis, Two Aunts, Betty Duddleston, Marie Moore, and loving cousins.
Visitation for friends and family on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, 6:00-8:00 PM at Sparkman-Hillcrest. Funeral Service on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, 2:00 PM at Highland Park United Methodist Church, 3300 Mockingbird Lane, Dallas followed by a Celebration of Life at The Mansion on Turtle Creek, 2821 Turtle Creek Blvd, Dallas at 3:30 PM.
