Born 12-27-1922 in Foss, OK and passed away 3-7-2012 in Farmers-ville, TX. He was the last of 16 children. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty Ann Richardson Cotter; 4 children, Cathleen Cotter-Smith and husband, Jack, Donna Cotter, Stephen Cotter and wife, Kay, Mark Cotter and wife, Tami; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grand-children; other relatives and friends. He was an U.S. Airforce Veteran and served in WWII. He was a graduate of SMU and worked as a Personnel Director, Real Estate Broker and Home Builder. He was previously an Elder in the Church of Christ and currently a member of Eastridge Church of Christ. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, 3-11-2012 at Eastridge Church of Christ, 670 Stodghill Rd./485 N. F.M. 549, Rockwall, TX 75087. Interment to follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
