Robert Earl McPherson Jr.

Robert Earl McPherson Jr. was born on Jan 8, 1948, in Longview, Texas to the parentage of Robert McPherson Sr. and Jannie Mae Daniels McPherson, both of whom preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was a brother, Clifford McPherson and a Granddaughter, Delana LaRae Fantroy.

Robert, known also as "Sugaboy" to his family, accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Dallas Independent Schools where he graduated from James Madison High School in 1966. He excelled in football and attended Iowa State University. Robert met and married Brenda J. Williams, they have been married for 52 years and to this union three children were born. He proudly served his country as a member in the United States Air Force.

Robert has always been a hard worker to provide for his family. He spent most of his career on the road as a Truck Driver, driving from coast to coast. Once he retired from driving, he became a Real Estate Agent for a many years before getting his Real Estate Broker License and started his own company “Amack Realty”. He was always passionate about helping people and playing tennis & chest.

Robert leaves to cherish his memories, missing his presence, and mourning of his passing: His life partner and wife Brenda, his beloved children: Shanya D. Harper, Dana L. Matthews, Jason J. McPherson, Shannon J. Fantroy, Robert J. McPherson (Chanette). 15 grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, sister; Hazel J. Foster, sister-in-law; Patricia Taylor, brother-in-law Rickey Williams and a host of family and friends.
