Roberto Gomez Vallejo

Roberto Gomez Vallejo, age 85, passed away on September, 22nd 2019 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on June 7th, 1934 in Dallas, Texas to Juan and Dolores Vallejo. Roberto was raised in Oak Cliff, Texas where he graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1972.

Military Information: Private (Medic) where he served in Korea and was in service for 4 years. He married Lillie Vallejo in 1958 and the couple had 3 Children.He was a compliance Safety and Health Office at the Department of Labor (OSHA) where he worked for more than 25 years. In his spare time Roberto enjoyed family, religion, ornithology, history, visiting missions, riflery and loved to give his time and knowledge. His family and friends will always remember him as a brilliant, factual, charatable, charismatic, family man. He was always willing to give his time or anything, for everyone.

He is preceded in death by: Lillie Vallejo, Dolores Vallejo, Roberto J Vallejo, Juan Vallejo, Juanita Ortiz, and Richard Vallejo.

Survived by: Antonio Vallejo, Juan Vallejo, Carmen Vallejo, Kathleen Vallejo Yrigollen, Maria Vallejo Dill, David J Dill II, Teresa Dill, Alex Vallejo, and Paloma Yrigollen.

Roberto Vallejo is known for his service with LULAC#272, IMAGE, Boy Scouts of America Circle 10, Knights of Columbus, American G.I. Forum, Latino Culture Center, his involvement with Saint Cecilia and Bishop Dunne school board, and many other organizations.
