

Ron was raised in Dallas and graduated from W.W. Samuell High School in 1966 where he played football, was involved in several clubs, and served as vice-president of the student body his senior year. He continued playing football on scholarship at North Texas State University where he obtained his Bachelors in Business Administration and was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order.
After college, he began working at the Southland Corporation, which became 7-11 Inc., where he worked until he retired.
He met his wife Linda Hulsey at age 15 and they eventually married in 1969, where they enjoyed 56 years of marriage.
He is survived by his wife, Linda, son Steve Bryant of Mesquite, daughter Stacy Angel of Keller, son-in-law Perry Angel, grandson Nathaniel Angel, and granddaughter Sophia Angel, and many other family members and friends.
Throughout his life, he enjoyed many activities such as competitive roller skating, fishing, water skiing, golf, coaching pee-wee football, spending time with family, and in more recent years, coin-collecting and watching westerns.
He will be remembered by his friends and family as being a loyal and loving husband and father. He gave his family and friends many years of laughter with his dry sense of humor and wit.
He is preceded in death by his mother Nellie Parmelee, father Adrian Bryant, brother Richard Bryant, and sisters Adrian Stephens and Loretta Hamilton.
A visitation for Ronald will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. A graveside service will occur Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. A reception will occur Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 11:40 AM to 1:30 PM, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228.
