Rosa Mary V. Costilla

Rosa Mary V. Costilla, age 69, of Oak Cliff, TX passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, February 26, 2024, alongside her “Roll Dogs” Isidro, Victor, Vero, Adela, Bebe, and Monica. Rosa Mary was born in Dallas, TX on December 17, 1954, to Marcela Moreno.

Rosa Mary is survived by husband Isidro Costilla; children Joe Perez and wife Christina Salinas; Victor Villarreal and wife Veronica Lara; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brother Mike Villarreal and sister Lupe Ruiz and numerous friends and extended family. She is preceded in death by mother Marcela Moreno; brothers Rudy and Steve Villarreal; and son Jesus B. Hernandez.

Rosa Mary was a one-of-a-kind soul with a heart of gold. Her warmth and love were felt as soon as you walked into her home. She would not only provide for her family but also for anyone that was in need. She would give her last without hesitation. She loved hard and forgave easily. She was an amazing wife, mother, and a great friend.

Pallbearers: Patricia Montez, Veronica Villarreal, Steve Montez, Rey Torres, Baruh Bosch, Alvaro Reyes Sr., Alvaro Reyes Jr., and Guadalupe Garcia.

Visitation will be held at 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Rosary at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Catholic burial will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Calvary Hill North Chapel. Committal will follow at Oratory of Saints at 3:00 pm.

The Costilla family would like to ask everyone to please wear red on Wednesday, March 6th in her honor.
