All my condolences and prayers to the family. I met Ms. Ruby heading out to enjoy a cruise in 2019. She was so sweet; Our connection was instant. Conversing with her on our trip was such a joy. Although she's gone, I will always treasure the time we spent as the memories will remain with me forever.

We are praying for you. Please remember that during one of the most difficult times of your life that you are surrounded by people who love you. If we can do anything to help you mourn this tremendous loss do not hesitate to ask. We are here for you and your family. 

As hard as the heart and mind may try, losing a mother is an incalculable loss. It creates a hole that nothing this side of life can fill. Mama Ruby is one of a very tiny handful of women who showed me mother love after I lost my own, 26 years ago. This woman takes me back to my roots, where Shay and I first became sisters from another mother, and I inherited little Nikki in the deal. They were a complete family unit and Mama Ruby was at the helm, doing it all on her own, but she always made room for me at her table. I wish I’d seen more of her in recent days. Whenever I did see her, I always knew how she felt about me.  Shay, Nikki, I love you guys, my heart is broken with yours. May Heaven’s finest accommodations await you, Ms. Ruby. You earned and deserved nothing less.
