Mrs. Lawson grew up in Athens, Texas where she graduated high school and went on to Texas College in Tyler, Texas and received her cosmetology license.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Euester and Elvie Dewberry, one sister Jacquelyn Manley and three brothers, Sylvester, William Scott and Joe Phillip Dewberry. She leaves to cherish her memory her son Michael Lawson (Cynthia) of Garland, TX and adopted daughter Jacqueline Miles, Red Oak, TX . Two grandchildren Jason, Dallas, TX, Jada and one great granddaughter Jalynn, Chickasha, OK. Two sisters Gracie Gee and Joshlon Warren both of Dallas and two brothers Felton Dewberry (Peggy) Malakoff, TX , Donald Cook (Sylvia) Garland, TX and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
