Samuel Berger passed away November 13, 2016 at the age of 95. He was born on December 1, 1920 in Brooklyn, New York. After honorably serving in World War II he married his wife Irene of 50 years. He enjoyed the last 13 years of his life "living it up" as the "Mayor" of Town Village North. He loved photography, the computer, playing poker, calling bingo, and volunteering. He is survived by his son Jeffrey Berger and wife Nita, his daughter Marla Sturman and husband Scott. Grandchildren, Jennifer Hatcher and husband Mike, Bradley Sturman and wife Lori, and Shayna Sturman, great grandchildren Drake Hatcher and Samson Sturman. Graveside service at noon Tuesday Nov. 15, 2016 at Temple Emanu-El Cemetery 3430 Howell Street Dallas, TX. In lieu of flowers memorials maybe made to the charity of your choice.
