Sam you were the most amazing person i met. I remember meeting your father in your living room just us three and he raised a hell of a man. I loved the ice cream we always shared and time has gone so fast i will never forget you or our times. I love you and watch down on us from time to time. We will all see u soon my dear. Ill remember you always.

Sam, my other "son", you were such a fine human being who didn't see skin color, race or religion, but just people, and treat each one of us very special & respectful. My dauther Mitz & I are really going to miss you.

So sorry for your (our) loss.  I was Sam's commanding officer in Afghanistan.  We flew back together from El Paso.  My family still talks about chatting it up with him on the flight.  I'm going to miss his contagious smile and up-beat attitude.  It was a pleasure to serve with such a good young man.  My prayers continue for Sam and your family.  Rest assured, he's surrounded by Marines.  God Bless!
