

Sarah Salvato Scott passed away peacefully at home on April 29, 2016 at the age of 88. Sarah was born August 2, 1927 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Samuel Salvato and Maria Antonia “Lena” Guerino Salvato. Sarah was the youngest of four children.
Sarah married Floyd Eugene Scott of Chickasha, Oklahoma on December 13, 1945 in Long Beach, California. They were married for 53 years.
Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brother, Joseph Salvato and sisters, Kate Stephens and Rose Rogers.
She is survived by her only child, daughter, Deborah Turner, 3 grandchildren, Sarah Anne Wakefield and husband Trey of Seattle, Washington, James Flanagin Turner, III also of Seattle, and Scott Talbot Turner of Longview, Texas. She is also survived by great-granddaughter, Ava Rose Wakefield.
Visitation is Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 6-8pm with the Rosary at 7pm at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home, 10501 Garland Road, Dallas 75218. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, May 6, 2016 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9643 Ferndale Road, Dallas 75238. Burial to follow at 1pm at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas 75211.
