

Sheila was born in Topeka, KS on March 23, 1959. She graduated from Memorial High School in Tulsa, OK and attended Stephen F. Austin University and Southern Methodist university with a major in Art History. She found her niche in the Public Relations business, working on the earliest Dallas Cattle Baron Balls and many other accounts including Gumps. From there she joined Troy Dungan at Channel Eight doing a "wonderful Job" of coordinating Santa's Helpers for over nine years. She was an adventurous traveler traveling with her family and friends to Europe, South America, Central America and Morocco and as an ardent big game hunter she maid there trips to South Africa in search of animals with "Curly horns". For many years she was a member of The National Society of the Colonial Dames of America, serving as Chairman of the Grants Committee in Texas, as well as a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas.
Survivors include her mother Victoria Powell Bradshaw and her beloved step father Marvin Bradshaw of Dallas, TX; her uncle and aunt, George and Sylvia Powell of Mission, Texas; cousins, Ariel King and husband Frank and great-niece and nephew, Madeline and Zachary King also of Mission, TX and step brother Samuel Bradshaw of Shepherd, TX. She was preceded in death by her devoted grandparents, George and Lillian Ruth Powell. She was the most wonderful daughter possible, and she will be greatly missed.
