Mrs. Sherril J. Schreyer

Sherril J. Schreyer was born in 1931 to Dexter and Queenie Duryee in Alma, MI. She was married to Frederick Schreyer in 1951 and enjoyed 61 years together until Fred’s passing in 2012. Sherril was a co-owner of Castle Mailing Center in Dallas, TX for more than 20 years. Her main focus was always and foremost her family. She was a loving Wife, Mom, Mother-in-Law, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, as well as Sister, Sister-in-Law and Aunt. Sherril passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 11, 2019 at Crescent Place Assisted Living Center in Cedar Hill, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Richard Duryee, husband Fred Schreyer and Granddaughter Mattie Reynolds. She is survived by her brother Fred Duryee and wife Leah of Saint Joseph, MI; her sister Darlene Scharich and husband Elmer, of Unionville, MI; two sons: Kent Schreyer and wife Barbara of Duncanville, TX and Kim Schreyer and wife Ellen of Conway, AR; Grandsons Andrew Schreyer and wife Shannon of Colleyville, TX and Shannon Schreyer and wife Chandra of Buckhannon, WV; numerous nieces and nephews as well as four Great-Grandchildren who were her pride and joy. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Laurel Land Funeral Home and Memorial Park, located at 6300 South R L Thornton Freeway in Dallas, TX.
