Shirley Anne Clifton Davis was born on December 31, 1940 in Dallas, TX to parents Floy Stewart Clifton and James Vinson Clifton Sr. Shirley passed away peacefully at the age of 79 in Houston, TX on June 5, 2020.
She attended Stephen F Austin High School in Houston, TX, graduating in 1958. Active in High School she twirled, served on The Booster Club, Senior Sub Debs, Aloha Club, Chorale, and was a Student Council Representative. After High School she attended college at The University of Houston and pledged to the Phi Mu Sorority and became a Miss Houston contender.
Shirley was married twice and has 3 children: Sandra Davis, Michael Davis, and Cynthia Russell.
Her favorite things were gardening, taking trips, and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her 3 children, her grandchildren: Katie Davis, Sean Davis, Alex Russell, and Macy Russell.
