

Steve Crane, beloved husband, father, and friend passed away on August 28, 2014. He was born May 21, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois. Steve is CEO of Delta 1 in Dallas, Texas. He is an inventor, patent holder, and manufacturer of products related to photography and cinema. He owns and manages several commercial properties in Dallas.
Steve volunteers with Dallas County Juvenile Services, Dallas Police Department, The Citizen Support Team for Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, FBI Citizen Academy, Dallas County District Attorney Prosecutor’s Citizen Academy, Kids and Cops, and Dallas Junior Police Academy.
He has served on the boards of Texans Can Academy, Dallas Children’s Charities, Love For Kids, Airline Ambassadors, Letot Foundation, Dallas County Youth Services Advisory Board, and Dallas County Coalition of Community Justice Agencies.
Steve has received the “Lifetime Service Award” from Dallas County Juvenile Services, The Dallas Morning News “Savvy Award” for Community Service, and has served as Grand Marshall at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day parade in Dallas, Texas.
He received his Master’s Degree from Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas, his Bachelor of Arts Degree from The University of Texas at Austin and a diploma in Spanish Studies from the University of Barcelona, Spain.
Steve leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 34 years Terry, daughter Kristana, his father-in-law George Kreig, sister-in-law Susan and husband Bill Merrill, niece and nephews Bethany, David, and Ricky Allen, great nieces Amaris and Elliana Allen, and nieces Denise O'Neal, Stephanie Gordon, and Cindy Kane.
The family is requesting in lieu of flowers donations be sent to the Letot Center Capital Foundation Fund or the Dallas Can Academy. Both have online donation sites.
