Susan Jane Tomasofsky

May 7, 1955, to April 17 2022

Susan Jane Tomasofsky made the journey to Heaven on April 17, 2022, after a long battle with COPD. No one could demonstrate more courage, dignity, and positivity when faced with such an intractable disease.

Susan was born in Dallas, Texas on May 7, 1955. She was the daughter of Harry and Loraine Triece, and she attended Ursuline Academy in Dallas.

On May 3rd, 1986, Susan married her soul mate, best friend, and loving husband, Michael Tomasofsky.

Susan had a passion for reading and the arts. Throughout her life, Susan loved to spend her free time crafting, painting, decorating, and designing jewelry, and she could often be found listening to her favorite musician, Sting. Finally, Susan also had an intense love for animals reflected through the love and care that she gave to her beloved pets, Jenny and Maggie.

Susan is survived by her husband, Michael Tomasofsky, her brothers, John and Joseph Triece, her sister, Emily Triece, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Susan has joined her parents, Harry and Loraine, and her sisters, Nancy and Elizabeth Triece, at the Lord’s table.

A Celebration of Life will be held with her immediate family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that donations be made to the North Texas Food Bank.
