Terri was my cousin. We grew up together and spent more time together than I can say. We trick or treated and shot fireworks together. She drank Dr Pepper and I drank Coke. She twisted her hair off at the roots and toted a Ms. Beasley doll around for years. We danced to Bobby Sherman kissed Leif Erikson's picture in Tiger Beat Magazine. We skated and swam and I fell in love with the boy next door and wanted desperately to skate couples with him. Instead I skated with Terri. Her Dad scared the total crap out of us one year on Halloween, when we decided to have a seance with her girlfriends and neighbor. She was Cinderella and I wasn't. We spent every holiday together, hunting eggs or eating turkey and lasgne. We broke the diving board at the lake from jumping so much, and  sneaked off to smoke when nobody knew it, so we thought. Teenagers. We later went clubbing at Savvy's, where I met my husband.  She dated the sound guy from Pantera before they were the Cowboys from Hell. We grew up quickly, life changed as it will and we grew apart with new families to raise. I love you cuz. Hug NeeNee, your Mom, Dad and everyone, one day I'll see you again 🥰

I can see Terri twirling her hair and smiling.  It was 79 or 80 and we were working at Payless Cashways.  She was changing prices and she was beautiful! I was new and she was nice to me right off the bat. We sure had a crew there at that store. I went with her and Linda to watch a band that they loved. I sure wish I had got to see her before it was to late.  She sure had part in making some beautiful kids.  I loved you Terri

Terri and my sister, Linda Metcalf Lancto were best friends for 48 years.  They were roommates, workmates, and Linda was godmother to Terri's children.   Terri was a great comfort last year when we lost Linda to cancer.  We are so sorry for your loss.  The one thing I know, is that they are happy together in Heaven.

I’ve known Terry as long as I can remember knowing somebody. We worked together we share a house together and we danced together numerous times. She was like a sister to me and she will be sorely missed.My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family

We went to school together and worked together at Payless Cashways in Duncanville back in the 80’s.
We had a great team including her bestie Linda and always had a good time working there and made lifelong friendships.
I moved to Glenn Heights 16 years ago and ran across Terri again working for the Glenn Heights court system.
Terri will be missed.
