Born on May 23rd, 2005 in Kirkland, Washington, he was the precious son to Christopher and Catherine Hunhoff, a beloved brother to Peter, Paul, Philip, Andrew, and James, a cherished cousin to many, and a dear friend to countless more.
Thomas was blessed with a sweet and kindhearted nature. As a baby he was quiet, calm, and easygoing, all qualities that would describe him today. He was immensely happy and it showed in his constant smile. He was the first to help one in need and his compassion for others was his greatest virtue.
Thomas was a talented artist, loved to snowboard, go to the gym, play basketball, and spend time with his family and friends. He was most proud to hold the title of the tallest Hunhoff brother at 6 feet 6 1/2 inches tall, to their shared dismay,
Thomas loved his Catholic faith and believed it was a gift to be treasured. He would often give unsolicited advice to his younger brother to “always stay in the state of grace.” By the grace of God, it was advice he lived by.
We give thanks to God for the precious gift of our beautiful boy, a blessing lent to us for far too little time.
Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine. Et lux perpetua luceat eis.
Fidelium animae, per misericordiam Dei, requiescant in pace. Amen.
